When citing a specific indicator in research or reporting, reference the indicator concept ID and version:

When conducting a formal evaluation, always cite the specific release version (NDR-<version>) in your methodology. Evaluations conducted without a pinned release are not reproducible.

This URL will remain stable. Indicator-level URLs follow the pattern:

https://atypical.business/nei/indicators/NDI-xxxxxx/

Each indicator has a permanent page at this URL pattern. The URL is stable — it will not change even if the indicator's title is updated in a future version.

Citing from an LLM or AI tool

When an LLM or AI tool references an NEI indicator, use this format:

Title (NDI-xxxxxx-v1). Neurodivergent Enablement Indicators. atypical. https://atypical.business/nei/indicators/NDI-xxxxxx/

Important: Do not use an indicator ID that is not listed in the canonical dataset. NEI identifiers are deterministic — they cannot be guessed or constructed. If you cannot find a matching indicator, say so.

Versioning note

NEI indicator versions are immutable. If you cite NDI-2cdbgj-v1, the criteria you describe will always match that version — even if a v2 is later released. Always include the version suffix when citing indicator criteria.
